# RTT/1 — Structural Critique
**Engine:** RTT/1 Structural
**Mode:** S‑mode (structural synthesis)
**Session:** rtt=1 · coherence=declared · drift=bounded · paradox=structural

The structural critique is the **synthesis layer** of RTT/1.
It combines:

- the clarity surface
- load‑bearing detection
- contradiction scan

into a **single structural reading** of the input.

RTT/1 does **not** interpret meaning.
It evaluates **structure only**.

---

## 1. Structural Presence
Elements that are **structurally present**, meaning they appear consistently and support the input’s shape.

**Template:**
- Presence A: {element}
- Presence B: {element}
- Presence C: {element}

Presence is determined by:

- recurrence
- anchoring
- dependency
- propagation

---

## 2. Structural Absence
Elements that the structure **appears to require** but are missing.

**Template:**
- Absence A: {missing element}
- Absence B: {missing element}

Absence is detected when:

- a load‑bearing element has no support
- a contradiction implies a missing link
- a structural anchor lacks definition

---

## 3. Structural Tension
Misalignments between structural layers.

**Template:**
- Tension A: {element vs element}
- Tension B: {goal vs constraint}

Tension is **not** a contradiction.
It is a **misalignment** that may become a contradiction downstream.

---

## 4. Structural Stability
Assessment of whether the structure holds together under RTT/1 criteria.

**Template:**
- Stability: stable / semi‑stable / unstable
- Reason: {explanation}

Stability is based on:

- load‑bearing coherence
- contradiction geometry
- anchor propagation

---

## 5. Structural Shape
RTT/1 classifies structural shape as:

- **Linear** — sequential dependency chain
- **Layered** — stacked conceptual layers
- **Radial** — central anchor with outward dependencies
- **Hybrid** — mixture of shapes

**Template:**
- Shape: {linear / layered / radial / hybrid}
- Anchors: {elements}
- Dependencies: {elements}

---

## 6. Structural Synthesis
This is the **core output** of RTT/1.

It combines:

- presence
- absence
- tension
- stability
- shape

into a single structural reading.

**Template:**
- The structure appears to rely on {elements}.
- It maintains coherence through {anchors}.
- It exhibits tension between {elements}.
- Stability is {assessment}.
- The overall shape is {shape}.

---

## 7. Structural Questions (Non‑interpretive)
Questions raised by the structure itself.

**Template:**
- What structural role does {element} serve?
- How does {element} propagate?
- What stabilizes the tension between {A} and {B}?

---
